I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, and the beautiful landscape of the Pacific Northwest. I received my Bachelor of Science in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Colorado, Boulder, in 2007 and moved to Southern California in 2009 to attend USC’s Graduate School of Social Work.
I have training and expertise in the areas of Motivational Interviewing and the Stages of Change, Harm Reduction, Attachment Theory, and Internal Family Systems. And based on a personal experience visiting Thailand as a young adult, I also incorporate mindfulness and meditation into my work. I have experience working with people overcoming trauma, depression, anxiety, life adjustment, and relationship concerns. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2014.
I have a true passion for meeting people where they are at, using a nonjudgmental approach, and exploring an individual’s true, unique goals and voice.
