At A Place to Turn, we are honored to welcome Kristina Eifert to our clinical team. Kristina is a compassionate, grounded therapist offering client-centered counseling for individuals and families. She creates a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts and emotions at their own pace.

Kristina supports clients navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. She brings an approachable and empathetic presence to her work, emphasizing collaboration and respect for each client’s lived experience. She believes that healing unfolds through connection and that each person carries the inherent capacity to thrive.

Kristina’s approach is client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. She integrates:

Kristina earned her Master of Social Work from Columbia University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminology and Justice Studies from California State University, Northridge. Her background in veterinary specialty medicine administration deepened her understanding of grief, love, and the emotional complexities of family dynamics. She has also worked with clients impacted by the legal and carceral system, strengthening her commitment to treating every client with dignity and respect.

Outside of the therapy room, Kristina enjoys spending time with her family, attending concerts, traveling, and grounding herself in nature, especially in the mountains. She also treasures moments with her pugs and rabbit, who bring comfort and joy to daily life.
