Lorraine Derosa, MPS, ALPCC, works with patients with generalized anxiety and depression, trauma survivors, couples, and medically ill populations of all ages. As an Associate therapist with a Masters' degree in art therapy from The School of Visual Arts in New York, Lorraine previously interned as a therapist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and New Alternatives for Children foster center. Lorraine is a recent transplant to the West Coast with her family and dog, Lucky, and is currently serving children, adults, and couples in Los Angeles.

Lorraine brings a holistic, creative, and patient-centered approach to each session, and focuses on the uses of art, play, narrative, and mindfulness practices in treatment, as well as CBT, trauma-informed care, and talk therapy. In addition to her expertise in creative therapies, she has completed Gottman levels I and II couples training, trauma training, ADHD and autism training, and is a native English speaker, and fluent in French and Spanish. Lorraine has also served as a writer and contributor to The New York Times, Washington Post, WSJ and other global outlets on the topics of human and child development, health, and mental health since 2008, and is an avid nature enthusiast, hiker, and photographer.
