I became a therapist as part of an overall commitment to exploring the many different paths to healing and well-being. My style is warm, collaborative, and respectful. I have been practicing psychotherapy for 20 years. My clients are able to work through their issues in a supportive environment which makes them feel understood, empowered, and hopeful. I mostly draw from a psychodynamic and analytical perspective, but also lean into cognitive behavioral therapy as well as acceptance therapy. My specialties include working with adults and adolescents that are experiencing life transitions, intense emotions that may be getting in the way, depression, anxiety (OCD), PTSD, eating disorders, low self- esteem, and various relationship issues. I also specialize in helping clients that may be working through their gender identify and/or sexual orientation.
