At A Place to Turn, we are honored to welcome Jessica Jauregui, Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, to our Santa Clarita clinical team. Jessica believes that our lives are made up of stories—and while some chapters bring joy and fulfillment, others may leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from ourselves. She is passionate about helping clients rewrite the stories that no longer serve them, creating space for healing, growth, and renewed hope.
Jessica understands that beginning therapy can feel intimidating. Opening up about life's most personal experiences requires courage, and she believes that leaning into discomfort often becomes the catalyst for meaningful transformation. She creates a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences while reconnecting with their authentic selves.
Jessica works with teens, young adults, adults, and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem concerns, co-dependency, major life transitions, perinatal mental health (pregnancy and postpartum), birth trauma, first responder stress, and recovery from intimate partner violence and sexual assault. She is committed to honoring each client's unique journey and believes there is no "one-size-fits-all" approach to therapy.
Her therapeutic style is trauma-informed, collaborative, and deeply personalized. Jessica primarily draws from Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based interventions. She gently helps clients identify patterns, build insight, strengthen emotional resilience, and develop practical tools that support lasting change. Through compassion, curiosity, and thoughtful guidance, Jessica empowers clients to discover new perspectives and create healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Jessica believes every individual already possesses the capacity for healing. Her role is to provide the support, guidance, and therapeutic relationship that allows clients to reclaim their voice, rewrite their story, and move confidently into the next chapter of their lives.
