Clinical Supervisor — Pasadena Office

At A Place to Turn, we are honored to have Nicole Nardon as part of our leadership team. With over two decades of experience in clinical work, supervision, and program development, Nicole brings both depth and heart to her role as a Clinical Supervisor. Her approach blends trauma-informed care, collaboration, and compassion—guiding associate therapists to grow into confident, ethical, and attuned clinicians.

In addition to her work at A Place to Turn, Nicole serves as the Director of Psychological Services at Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy, where she provides individual and group therapy to high school and boarding students. She leads innovative mental health programming for students and families, oversees a student-led mental health initiative, and directs the school’s social media efforts to reduce stigma and increase access to care.

Nicole previously spent over a decade as a Clinical Supervisor at Partnership to Uplift Communities (PUC), where she mentored MFT trainees, developed crisis intervention protocols, and built an online counseling resource for the school network. Her earlier leadership at Hillsides Youth Moving On Program supported young adults transitioning out of foster care, while her clinical work at Hillsides Home for Children focused on helping children heal from trauma and attachment disruptions.

A passionate educator and public speaker, Nicole has led numerous trainings for teachers, students, and parents on trauma-informed care, suicide prevention, and managing anxiety. She is also a certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor and an experienced trainer who empowers both professionals and the broader community with tools to support emotional resilience and reduce mental health stigma.

Nicole’s commitment to service extends beyond her professional roles, through volunteer work with Good Shepherd Shelter, Homeboy Industries, Angel City Sports, and Descanso Gardens, reflecting her belief that mental health support should be accessible, compassionate, and community-driven.
