Julia Lewis is a (she/her), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, to our Pasadena clinical team. Julia is dedicated to creating a safe, collaborative, and affirming therapeutic environment where deep healing and meaningful transformation can unfold. Through genuine connection, compassionate presence, and more than 11 years of experience in the mental health field, she believes each person possesses an innate capacity for healing and growth.

Julia specializes in working with adults experiencing complex trauma (C-PTSD), panic attacks, psychosis, suicidality, Spiritual emergencies, intergenerational trauma, childhood and adult abuse, schizophrenia-spectrum experiences, and systemic harm. She is deeply committed to helping clients understand the intersection of mental health, spirituality, culture, and lived experience while supporting them in creating lives of greater meaning, resilience, and wholeness.

Recognizing that healing occurs within the context of our relationships, communities, and broader systems, Julia provides trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, evidence-based, and culturally responsive care. Her integrative approach combines Existential Therapy, Liberation Psychology, Buddhist Philosophy, and moment-to-moment relational attunement to honor each client's unique story and values. When supporting individuals experiencing higher-intensity symptoms, she thoughtfully incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Prolonged Exposure (PE) interventions to promote safety, stabilization, and lasting healing.

Throughout her career, Julia has served children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families across community mental health, clinical, international, educational, and therapeutic settings. Her extensive travel and work with diverse populations have deepened her commitment to cultural humility and whole-person care. Julia earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California (USC) and continues to integrate clinical excellence with compassion, curiosity, and respect for every client's journey.
