At A Place to Turn, Trevi Fligg, AMFT, works with individuals, couples, and families facing a range of personal and relational challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and life transitions. She is committed to empowering clients to explore their concerns, discover new perspectives, and work toward meaningful change.
Trevi takes a person-centered approach to therapy, integrating psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral (CBT), narrative, and mindfulness-based approaches to meet each client's needs. Her work focuses on helping clients understand how past experiences influence the present, develop self-awareness, build on their strengths, and foster practical coping skills. She strives to create a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable working at their own pace.
Before pursuing clinical psychology, Trevi spent more than 15 years as a music educator, working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her work with people at different stages of life highlighted the importance of adapting to each person's individual needs. This perspective continues to inform her approach to therapy and is foundational to her commitment to helping clients feel understood and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.
